ISR-affiliated Professor Ben Shneiderman (CS/UMIACS) was a guest on the Oct. 30, 2013 Kojo Nnamdi Show on NPR station WAMU (Washington, D.C.).

Shneiderman and fellow guests Delegate Daniel Morhaim (D-Baltimore County) of the Maryland House of Delegates, and Office of National Coordinator for Health IT Jacob Reider, discussed electronic health records. Morhaim, a physician, had recently written an opinion piece in The Washington Post, "An electronic medical records mess."

In addition to Shneiderman's appearance on the show, WAMU featured the Human-Computer Interaction Laboratory's video of its Twinlist research on the program's web page.
