John Baras named Fellow of Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics
On March 27, Professor John Baras (ECE/ISR) was selected as a Fellow of the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM). Baras was recognized for his ?contributions to systems theory, stochastic control and communication networks.?
Baras is also a Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (1984) and the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Science (2006).
