Professor Tony Ephremides (ECE/ISR) was an invited speaker at the Workshop on Network Science organized by the Chinese University of Hong Kong and Tsinghua University of Beijing in Hong Kong on July 25-27. He spoke on the problem of ?Scheduling in Wireless Networks.?

Ephremides was recently named a Distinguished University Professor by the University of Maryland. He also is the Cynthia Kim Professor of Information Technology in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering.
