This REU is open to students majoring in engineering, computer science, physical science, or mathematics at any US college or university. Each Scholar receives a $4,500 stipend plus allowance for meals while on campus.

Scholars will be selected based on academic achievement, capacity to participate in a research team, the fit between the student?s research projects, skills, and interests, commitment to supporting women in science fields, interest in peer mentorship, and interest in continuing studies in graduate or professional school. The application deadline is March 15th, 2011.
