ISR-affiliated Professor William S. Levine (ECE) is co-editor (with former ISR faculty member Dimitrios Hristu-Varsakelis, University of Macedonia, Thessaloniki, Greece), of Handbook of Networked and Embedded Control Systems.

This new book in Birkhauser's Control Engineering Series is an indispensible text for anyone interested in knowing more about embedded and networked control systems. It provides engineers, computer scientists, mathematicians and students with a comprehensive source of information and technology to address many questions and aspects of embedded and networked control. The book is a carefully organized collection of important results, tools, software and technology. It unifies into a single reference many scattered articles, websites and specification sheets--information that might otherwise be difficult to find. Dr. Levine is also the Control Engineering Series editor.
