Congratulations to Clark School of Engineering Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs and ISR-affiliated Professor Mark Shayman (ECE), who has been elected as a Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). He was recognized for his ?contributions to the theory of Riccati equations and discrete-event dynamic systems.?

Shayman's research interests have been focused on communication networks, including WDM networks, free space optical networks, ad-hoc networks, and sensor networks, as well as distributed denial of service (DDoS) attack mitigation.
