Maryland Applied Graduate Engineering (MAGE) announced this month that its Master of Engineering and Graduate Certificate degrees in Robotics will now be available completely online. The program had previously only been available in-person.
With this programmatic update, Robotics joins eight other MAGE programs– Bioengineering, Energy Systems Engineering, Cybersecurity, Fire Protection Engineering, Project Management, Reliability, Software Engineering, and Systems Engineering – offered 100% online. Students enrolled in the M.Eng. and GCEN in Robotics will still have the option to complete their coursework in person at the University of Maryland College Park campus and may now also opt for a combination of in-person and online coursework.
MAGE is ranked #12 among U.S. colleges and universities for online graduate engineering by U.S. News & World Report. The addition of Robotics to its online offerings highlights MAGE’s commitment to continuously evolve to keep up with industry demand.
“Robotics is one of our most popular academic options and MAGE is very proud to now offer it online, making the challenging yet enriching curriculum accessible to even more working professionals who have decided to pursue an advanced degree,” says Dr. George Syrmos, Assistant Dean for Continuing Education. “Our hope is to equip an already talented workforce of engineers with even more skills, knowledge, and hands-on experience in the field of robotics.”
