Assistant Professor Piya Pal

Assistant Professor Piya Pal (ECE/ISR) received the 2014 Wilts Prize from The Electrical Engineering Department at California Institute of Technology where she was advised by Professor P. P. The Wilts Prize annually recognizes one graduate student for outstanding independent research in electrical engineering leading to a doctoral degree. The award also honors Charles H. Wilts; it was instituted by Wilts’ Caltech colleagues and endowed by his friends, students and colleagues as a lasting tribute to the scientist, teacher, and man he was.
