ECE/ISR alumnus Serban Sabau has accepted a position as a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Electrical and Systems Engineering at the University of Pennsylvania. He will be working with Professor Ali Jadbabaie in the General Robotics Automation, Sensing and Perception (GRASP) Laboratory on projects related to the Office of Naval Research MURI, "Next Generation Network Science." Sabau's appointment begins in December 2011.

Sabau earned his ECE Ph.D. in 2011, advised by Associate Professor Nuno Martins (ECE/ISR).
