ISR Professor of the Practice Marvin Sambur has written a commentary on Department of Defense acquisition for Defense News. Sambur proposes two rules for acquisition reform that he says will ensure "the American taxpayer will have a realistic accounting of existing programs and knowledge of what the services can truly afford for new endeavors."

The article appears in the Feb. 16, 2009 issue and is also available online (subscription to Defense News required to view).
