Class Central—a search engine and review site for massive open online courses (MOOCs)—has named a University of Maryland offering among their top 10 MOOCs (out of ~3,400) beginning in January 2019.

Agile Leadership Principles, part of UMD’s professional certificate in Agile Project Management, earned the honor alongside MOOCs offered by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology; Harvard University; University of California, Berkeley; Princeton University; Yale University; University of Michigan; and others. The course is taught by A. James Clark School of Engineering alumnus John Johnson, lecturer in UMD’s Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering and Project Management Center for Excellence.

UMD’s MOOC program, facilitated through the Teaching and Learning Transformation Center, began in 2013. Its full list of offerings can be found here.
