Wong Chau-Wai, a PhD student of Professor Min Wu; and Junyi Shen, a PhD student of Associate Professor A. Khaligh, have been selected for the “Chinese Government Award for Outstanding Self-financed Students Abroad. The award is given to 500 students by the China Scholarship Council and is given to students who have been supported as TAs, RAs or fellows by their graduate institutions outside of China.

Two other ECE students, Shuo Sun, a PhD student of Edo Waks; and Ting Xie, a PhD student of Mel Gomez, also were selected for the award.
